Sixth Form Admissions Timeline
Early November - Prospectus packs are sent to all Year 11 students at MNSP secondary schools in the Norton Radstock area. If you are not a students at one of these schools and would like a Prospectus Pack sent to you then please contact us.
November - The Sixth Form Open Evening is an opportunity for prospective parents and students to view the courses on offer and find out more about each site with the aim of providing a flavour of what life would be like in the Sixth Form. There is also an opportunity to hear from the Director of Sixth Form, and current students, about what makes the Sixth Form so special.
Nov/Dec - After Open Evening, daytime tours of the sites are available - we would encourage all prospective students and parents to visit, to see the Sixth Form at work.
December - The deadline for applications. Applications will be accepted after this date, but priority for spaces in oversubscribed subjects will be given to applications received by this deadline.
January to March - Students are interviewed by a member of the Sixth Form team to provide guidance on options and progression.
End of March - Sixth Form applicants will be made provisional offers for places in the Sixth Form.
May - Students complete enrolment process.
June/ July - External applicants and those requiring additional support in transition are offered additional support visits.
